Differences in higher education disputes are almost always the result of a failure to communicate. Often this miscommunication leads to escalation and to needless and costly litigation.

Since 1973, I have mediated over 800 disputes involving college faculty and administrators. Mediation is the approach that has led to resolution without the parties becoming legal adversaries. My involvement has helped resolve many problems, even after legal approaches have proved unsatisfactory.
